This week (April 25-29) will be my final classes of the season at BOTH West Side Community Church and Centre Ice Fitness.
The great news is that we’re adding a NEW class at Westwoods Elementary for the month of May!!

There had been some underground rumors that Zumba Toning might be cancelled this week because the church where we hold class is having a service that night.
I’m happy to announce that class will go on as scheduled—Zumba Toning Thursday night at Lake Ann United Methodist!
This coming Monday will be our final class at West Side Community Church before we break for summer. Don’t miss it!

Spring Break Break

There will be no Zumba classes during the week of Spring Break, March 27 – April 2.
Hopefully you can use the extra time to hang with your kids if they’re home from school this week.
Have a great vacation, all our classes will resume the following week, starting with the West Side class on Monday, April 4th.
Spring Zumba is Finally Here!

Well, I’ve got to say that another long Michigan winter was definitely a lot easier to endure with Zumba every week… but I sure am glad that it’s almost over!
The winter ended a bit rough for me… the flu hit our house like a sledgehammer. I even had to cancel one of my classes at West Side Community Church!
I want to let everyone know how I’m scheduling the make up class and what’s going on for spring Zumba Fitness at West Side:
Make Up Class: Monday, March 7
Since the class I cancelled was the final session that quite a few people had already paid for, I am going to make tomorrow night’s class the “make up” final session for the West Side winter Zumba session. So if you paid your $30 session fee back in January, you are all set for tomorrow night’s class.
Drop-ins are always welcome of course – for a special West Side rate of just $5!
Spring Session: Starts Monday, March 14
We’re going to round out the school year at West Side with a quick Spring session. The Spring Zumba session at West Side Community Church will begin on Monday, March 14 and will meet for 6 weeks with our final class on April 25.
There will be no class during the week of Spring Break, which is March 28 – April 1
Once again, we’ve worked out a special deal with the church so the rates are totally irresistable to you Zumba lovers out there.
This will be a shorter session—just six weeks—for an incredible price of $21!!!
You can sign up tomorrow at class or at the first spring class next week.
Schedule changes can be a bit confusing, so if you have any questions just send me an email or call anytime 231-944-6322

2011 Kick Off

We’re not wasting any time kicking off 2011 in true Zumba fashion.
If you’re anything like me, the holidays are not too kind in the junk-food lack-of-exercise categories. So I’m super pumped to get back to sweating off all those holiday cookies (and pie, and cream cheese, and chips & dip, and pizzas).
Starting January 2, 2011
All my classes are back in action this week. Wednesday night is an awesome workout at Centre Ice in Traverse City, and Thursdays we have Zumba Toning (can’t wait to get back to that!) at Lake Ann United Methodist.
The really big announcement is that classes start up at West Side Community Church this Monday (Jan 3) with another amazing deal—only $30 for the entire session!!
Class begins at 7pm, but show up early if you haven’t already registered.
Special Holiday Schedule

I want to let everyone know how proud I am of all of you for your hard work at Zumba this past year. We are going to kick off 2011 full-force during the first week of January, but I thought you could use a little break until then.
There will be no classes during the following weeks:
- Week of December 19 – 25
- Week of December 26 – January 1
We will be rocking Centre Ice tonight at 6pm and Zumba Toning on Thursday at LAUM. Don’t miss this chance to party with us before the break!
The week of January 2nd we’ll be back with classes at West Side, Centre Ice and Lake Ann United Methodist!!

Zumba Toning Sticks are Here!

Just got the Zumba Toning Sticks for our Thursday night class in Lake Ann. If you haven’t tried Toning yet, come out tonight to see how fun and effective these weighted maraca sticks are for adding toning and shaping to the cardio of Zumba!
